This is really odd, I have a server that I can access via SSH, FTP and 
the web servers answer.
Yet that server can not ping the gateway or the firewall. I have checked 
all the blocked routes and hosts.deny
and the deny host and see nothing that would stop it from ping the 
gateway or firewall.

The gateway and the IP configuration are correct, have checked and moved 
the cables and all are fine.

Has anyone got any ideas or thoughts?
