One of my BQ boxes is showing " The SMTP server is not running and could not be restarted." In the status since I did a yum update.

It may just be coincidence.

I have tried restarting sendmail and it seems to be the sm-client that isn't working:

[root@server5 ~]# service sendmail restart
Shutting down sm-client: [FAILED]
Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sm-client: [ OK ]

It starts again but then dies immediately afterward.

I'm running Brian's Mailscanner/ClamAV/Spamassassin pkg - maybe that is it?

Anybody able to help?

Thanks

Colin
