you could keep a second up to date box with a different IP address, and if 
something happens to the primary you could shut down or change the ip address 
of the primary box, and swap its ip address with the secondary box.

I was working on a script to, delete all sites, then import raqbackup from ftp 
server. that would keep a somewhat up to date spare ready to go.
