I'm not advocating that all BQ users jump ship to BX this instant. I
think I'm more saying I'm not sure I would recommend another BQ
installation if you were putting up a new box. I think of this much
the same as I do when it was time to go from RaQ4 to 550 or BQ. Or
Win2K to XP. Or move from Plesk8 to Plesk9. Or... insert your own
example here. Time marches on. We've all been there!

In the interest of full-disclosure... we use BQ in our production
shared-hosting environment. We do not currently have any timetable to
implement BX migration. At the same time, if we were to have to replace
a box tonight, or add capacity tomorrow, it wouldn't be with BQ.

It *is* unfortunate that the contributions made by some notable folks
have fallen by the wayside as BQ stagnates. Thank GOODNESS that those
involved didn't just give up and walk away. They care enough about the
platform and have a vision of the future of the platform to put up the
effort to have it carry on with a new name. I'm certainly grateful for
that, as I am for the fore bearers (ie Hisao et al) who dragged
Sausalito from near death to the project that it has become.
