The email issue you mentioned was corrected a few weeks ago with the release
of dovecot.i386 1.1.8-0BQ3

Subject: [coba-e:15002] long time since yum update

I have a server (mail) that has not been updated in maybe a year or so.
In reading the list there had been email problems - flat file vs. db
files for users and other possible gotchas - so I held off. I'm now
ready to tackle it and wondering if anything needs to be done after a
yum update? Have these issues been laid to rest or should I look back in
the archives to find patches/fixes for email and other potential
problems? I'm a newbie (essentially) so just thought i better ask..

cheers, Jim
