Not sure if your having this same old kernel panic due to the iptables conflict that they haven't seemed to fix yet, but this may be what your problem is..

Oh and we yum updated our servers yesterday and got kernel 2.6.9-78.0.8.EL, which still does not seem to have the iptables fix yet, but with the work around we haven't had any reboot panics yet! *fingers crossed*
