Dan is correct. Of course, the "catch" is that if you change the OS on
the system, then the provider may or may not be able to provide
assistance if the time comes you need it. I've heard of
datacenters/providers "disavowing" boxes because they had a different OS
installed. They'll offer to re-image it to their default settings, but
won't lift a finger to help fix a problem.
Here's another idea, though.... you could take a box with CentOS5, then
install VMWare on it and run your CBQ as a VM. That will have its
advantages and disadvantages, but if you're "married" to the provider,
that will be an easy work-around.
