Found it ..
very wierd . it was a mount I had ..
mount -t nfs -o nolock CH3SNAS:/mnt/HD_a2/backup-server
/home/nuonce/backup/system_backup
that machine was rebooted ..
no idea how it could 'fix' itself again ..
