Excuse the delay in the response, hurricane IKE raised hell here...

Try looking at;
   /etc/server-fan  /etc/server-temp
Should give you info on fans and CPU temp.
Latest scripts are at;
   http://fsn.raqware.com/Supermicro/
move these scripts to /etc/cron.quarter-hourly/ rename/permissions
below;

-rwxr--r--  1 root root 1078 May 21 11:02 server-fans.pl
-rwxr--r--  1 root root 1262 May 21 10:26 server-temperature.pl
