That's correct. These two services need to be restarted when the language 
files (any new language files for that matter) are installed.

<Sigh>. That means the German translation will have the same issues.

As you know, Jes: the "virtual" BlueQuartz doesn't have that issues and German 
and Danish locakes work fine there. So I guess some of my fixes that I did to 
sort those problems out for the regular BlueQuartz either got rolled back, or 
weren't submitted correctly.  I'll compare the code trees again to see what 
went missing. And I'll probably be cursing like a sailor the entire way 
through it, as it WAS already working when I submitted it back in March or 
so ... :o)
