I'm sorry for long time no updates.
I put many update packages on testing repository.
But, at this time, I could release only for CentOS4(5102R).
I will check on other platform in couple of days.
This update has the following topics.
- Remove pwdb stuff and use flat file by automatically.
- All packages are signed.
- Add da_DK and de_DE locale.
- Use cracklib to check password.
The original cracklib code for use account was implemented by
Michael.
I added the codes to use cracklib for admin account.
Admin account has to be secure than user account, but it wasn't
implemented.
- Add base-phpinfo module by Michael.
- Fixed all japanese message of base-user were corrupted that
the cracklib commit broken it.
*Note*
The base-bluequartz-glue has the script to migrate from pwdb to flat
file,
it will be executed after upgrade by automatically.
It will take for a few seconds, but it doesn't lock cced, so please
don't
add any user during update process.
It will try migrate again after reboot, if the script suddenly stopped
by user action.
You need to install 'yum install *da_DK*BQ*', if you would like to use
da_DK locale.
You need to install 'yum install base-phpinfo*', if you would like to
use
this module.
You have to enter between 7 and 24 character and secure strings for
password and password will be checked with dictionary.
Please let me know the result of update, because of this update has
big changes and big impact with the system.
