Any ideas on this one:

[root@raq3 etc]# date 07031054

date: cannot set date: Operation not permitted

Thu Jul  3 10:54:00 CDT 2008

[root@raq3 etc]# date

Thu Jul  3 09:53:33 CDT 2008

 

The clock is an hour out, but for unknown reasons it won't let me set the
date by hand.

 

I'm logged in as root.

 

The ntpd is not running.
