Yes, that is related to problems with the PAM database. Line 348 in am_disk.pl 
tries to find out the disk quota for a user ($uid) on a device ($dev). 
Apparently the user it was asked to check the quota for doesn't exist in the 
PAM database and/or the quota database on the file system. 

That should clear itself up once you run the PAM to Shadow conversion.
