>I'm wondering what's the best practice for managing the DNS service on BlueQuartz machines
We use the following:
server management > dns > management >
advanced > Default DNS Administrator Email Address: enter one
auto dns >
host names: www, mail
mail server host name: mail
edit primary services >
www.name.com - Forward - 00.000.000.0
mail.name.com - Forward - 00.000.000.0
name.com - Forward - 00.000.000.0
name.com - Mail Highest - mail.name.com
modify soa >
primary name server (NS): ns1.name.net
secondary name server (NS): ns2.name.net
Yes, it would be very nice if the dns servers were added to the advanced tab.
