Has anyone needed a custom user / group solution for customers that want to
give their users Permissions to directories within bluequartz using their
own "custom groups"
/usr/sbin/lgroupadd this command can only be used by a superuser, and We
would not like to give that power to a regular siteadmin
Has anyone fullfilled these kind of request on a BQ,
Regards

Subject: [coba-e:13059] User ability to create groups
Hi,
Is it possible that a SiteAdmin with SSH access on Bluequartz ...
Could create his own groups and add users to his groups ?
Which command would he use

Subject: [coba-e:13056] Ftp doesn't work with IE7
Howdy,
My clients want to use IE7 with FTP and it doesn't work.
Opera connects just fine, but there is a problem to convience them to switch
- corporate policy often prevents this.
How could I overcome this?
More details on particular client:
He has a site on the server and wants his clients to connect to a certain
directory w/ user/pass in order to download files.
I created a separate non-privileged user so he put his files in there.
The solution has several drawbacks, mostly dealing with permissions.
How could I overcome this?
Your advise is very appreciated, as usual.
Best,
