We have a Dell 1950, but I just checked and it's not one with a raid  
controller, using software RAID.  We have other dell servers, newest a  
2950 with a PERC 6/i SAS RAID which works fine (RAID enabled in BIOS,  
RAID 5), CentOS/BQ just sees it as one big drive.  I would think if  
the RAID is enabled the system shouldn't care, just see it as a  
drive.  Unfortunately I've only used hardware RAID on a dell 2850 and  
2950. They all seem to use the same PERC controller though.
