Hi Rashid,
You might be interested to know that this e-mail is being used to attack
me elsewhere on the net... That said I'm going to reply and try to clear up
a few things.. Please send all flames to /dev/null

First I want you and any other readers to know that I never intended to make
an attack towards anyone but only to openly discuss the changing of the
user/passwd system from an advanced db system back to flat files that I've
had to repair multiple times.. I brought this up for the betterment of the
community and the BQ software.
While I would be happy to provide my "technical prowess" as I can, Most
people in the community have been scared about accepting anything "foreign".
like I'm going to make a website (www.bqforge.com) in my name and then go
around hacking people.. An example of this would be the netatalk rpm I
built as a free download. I can't help but feel that the person that wanted
it was scared off from using it...
I really enjoy (as a hobby) building things outside the norm of things like
ProFTP and dovecot but when I spend time on something only to be the only
one to care, it's rather disappointing. especially when I would like to
use it myself and would like to hear some results from someone that has used
and configured it before.. I'm not picking on that poster here so please
don't take it that way...

Just so you know.. I'm a pretty happy person until I'm attacked and there
are both "Trolls" and other people that read my posts and take them in the
wrong way. When I'm attacked I will defend myself and I don't feel that's
wrong. in this case I was attacked and insulted several times. I also
don't like people that then lie about technical issues and when it's done
for financial gain in an open source environment. In those cases I'm happy
to set the record straight and expose the lie with a technical "report"
using my technical ability.

I have looked twice now and have not been able to find anything related to a
devel mailing list to join and I have never been invited to any other BQ
list. Some of the people you referred to are my direct competition (even
thought I don't have any competing BQ products at this time.) so being
turned down by my competition is the same as letting my competition close my
business. I wouldn't expect them to welcome someone else into their money
stream.
So all that said... I'm currently trying to decide on what to do with the
BQ project as related to my time and if I should spend anymore time on it or
just go build my own version.. My concern however is that BQ will be short
lived due to upcoming changes in php and things like the db removal. I
don't need the stress of fighting with people about stupid things or when
they don't stick to a technical discussion at all. I'm not here to be
insulted but rather to find new and more interesting things to build. I'm a
builder...
Again, Please send all flames to /dev/null
