Curious. My name shows up in an apparent response to discussion
regarding copyright restrictions and/or posting advertisements to the
list. Which is more than a little confusing to me, since I did not
have anything to do with or comment about any copyright issues and to
the best of my knowledge have not engaged in any advertising on this list.
I suppose I have made mention that we have several customers making use
of CBQ who maintain a presence on this list. We have actually
encouraged this for several years since putting the users, when they are
capable, in the position to "fish for themselves" vs. simply "handing
out fish" is generally a positive thing both for the users and the
community. Now, if that is construed as an advertisement, somebody
please fill me in.
I've seen a handful of our customers post in response to this thread.
More still have actually emailed me offlist in response to seeing my
name brought up here wondering "what's the deal with this guy?" And by
"this guy", they're not referring to me.
I've told them the same thing I will now say publicly to the list:
Don't feed the trolls. Remove the fuel and the fire will die. Then we
can get back to the business of discussing BQ.
