To quote Zeffie, "Well don't blame me!", either. Although my name was
the last on it, I am hardly the "fool" who made the spec file.
rpm -q --changelog dovecot | grep "^*"
Looks like to me it was Seth Vidal @ Duke University who inital made
the spec file, and then Redhat took it over, and then BQ Dev team.
Now, I am not a rocket scientist, but if Redhat didn't add the line
about noreplace either, I think I am off the hook. They are a lot
bigger then me :-)
Back the problem at hand, I compiled a new Dovecot RPM, based on the
spec file I had, and this is what I get when I upgrade:
rpm -U dovecot-1.0.12-1BQ12.i386.rpm
warning: /etc/dovecot.conf created as /etc/dovecot.conf.rpmnew
Just an FYI, I looked at the existing dovecot.spec BEFORE & AFTER, and
it stayed.
This is NOT caused by NuOnce or the BQ Developers, or Redhat, or even
Duke.
