looks like they don't like the idea of an address record for domain.tld...
http://www.ipcop.org

as far as ipcop goes it looks like it's still supported... It uses a 2.4
kernel in the stable 1.4.18 version and thats a nice place to be... however
they do have a new version commming out and that might be worth waiting
for... if they EOL the 1.4.18 version you might find yourself doing twice
the work...

I wouldn't reccomed this system to anybody at this time... it's rather
old... looking at the sources list...
http://www.smoothwall.org/get/release/sources.php

We can see it's running on a 2.2. kernel and using ipchains and IPfwd...
These things are just to old to start getting into now...

That said and as a reseller of WatchGuard systems I would recommend since
you had a paid solution before, maybe you want to continue down that
path.... The WatchGuard systems offer their LiveSecurity Service that can
protect your network much better and even do things like anti-spam and virus
checking via your incoming connection to your isp.. thus guarding your
network and keeping viruses and other nasty things out or preventing them
from connecting out... Now the margins aren't so big that you need to come
to me to buy them but I do sell my time consulting customers with setup and
Maintenance issues...

You can find them all over the net but http://www.buy.com/ has some good
prices...
this is a direct link. if it doesn't work for you just search "watchguard"
http://www.buy.com/retail/usersearchresults.asp?querytype=home&qu=watchguard&qxt=home&display=col&dclksa=1

That all said! If anyone would like to play with an updated CacheRaQ4
system, All you need is an old RaQ3, RaQ4, or Qube3 and you can get a
restore cd iso here... ftp://www.cobaltiso.com/CacheRaQ4-21022008.iso

It's really a nice little system....
