What about the good old,
-remove email server aliases,
-Save
-Enter aliases again
-Save

Worked for me in the past to solve this issue.

"www.example.com" is the alias
beforehand!?

The server has been operating for months with the vsites.
The virtusertable got screwed. Recognized by not being able to create or
delete users.
I delted all the duplicates, this fixed create/delete users.
But when adding a user their email would only work using user (at mark) www.domain.tld
Of course we were able to add user (at mark) domain.tld and run makemap on
virtusertable and it worked.
Seems like all the "no such user here" entries were duplicates.
At one time I found a script that would rebuild virtusertable on a Raq550.
Is there a script that will do that on CBQ???

Still not sure what the problem is, but will be working on it.
Everything works well and there are many users on these domains that email
does work, It's only when adding new users that the problem ocurrs
