It is NOT strange.  BQ and even the RaQ550 do this.  This is NOT new.  It 
has never added the "user (at mark) domain.tld".

What it does add is an entry like so;

 (at mark) domain.tld	%1 (at mark) host.domain.tld

It ONLY adds an entry like that though for your E-Mail aliases.  That is 
why you have to add "domain.tld" into the e-mail alias part in the virtual 
site configuration.
