Thanks for the response all but here's the problem.  I am logging into the
new box via it's ip address.  Because the new box takes on the "identity" of
the first site created in it, as soon as I connect via the new ip address it
resolves back to the old box I presume because that's where the the dns
leads it. The question for me is why does the first virtual site created in
BQ become the default site.  (Raq's were like this to I believe).  Shouldn't
the system have an independent admin page.  Or am I completely missing
something.

If you are unable to login to new box using IP address..

If you setup the new server and entered the old server's IP address, http
won't work.
telnet/ssh
do
/root/network_settings.sh
enter correct IP for new box

now you can log into new box with http using IP address
