I suggest you try checking the gpg-key, again a SWAG.
What does;
  rpm -qa | grep gpg

On a system that used NuOnce Installer, I get;
  [root (at mark) cbq1 cron.quarter-hourly]# rpm -qa | grep gpg
  libgpg-error-1.0-1
  gpg-pubkey-f888eeac-47462ece

On a system that used Strongbolt Installer, I get;
   [root@fsn3 am]# rpm -qa | grep gpg
   libgpg-error-1.0-1
   gpg-pubkey-f888eeac-47462ece

If you don't have "gpg-pubkey-f888eeac-47462ece" you can use;
rpm --import http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-4
