I beg of you all to kill this tread ASAP!

My systems worked I did end up with a couple of zero byte files.  I used
the suggested script to clean up the files this morning. And went on with
my life.

In my opinion this is a minor issue.  On some systems mail got directed
into a secondary directory.  Mail was not lost systems were not
comprimized and it really is not worth all the fuss.
