If the name of those files start with a dot, then it's fine and you can ignore 
them.

That's OK.

No, it won't. My SpamAssassin uses the very same script, it's just named 
differently (/usr/bin/av-spam-fix_centos-4.6.pl and 
not /root/procmailfix.pl). So you can run either one of those and it won't 
break anything.
