Try "yum install perl-Storable.noarch"
This package is installed on our servers running spamassassin.
It maybe just the order in which packages are installed.
On one of our systems we get;
[root (at mark) cobalt init.d]# spamd -V
SpamAssassin Server version 3.2.0
running on Perl 5.8.5
with SSL support (IO::Socket::SSL 1.07)
with zlib support (Compress::Zlib 1.34)
