Hi,

This works great....
After I copy the files over and add the mail to the new files.
How can I erase the mail in the old file..this way I can check the next day
and do the process over to catch any mail from dns servers still delivering
mail to the old server.

Jim,

  Yes, but _highly_ recommend you copy all the appropriate files to the new
server first, then use 
"cat old/home/spool/mail/<user1> >> /home/sites/*/users/<user1>/mbox
NOTE the double arrow (>>) as this will append to the existing mailbox just
in case it is receiving mail or working while you are doing the copy.
Otherwise you will simply replace (the scp) what is there now.
