Yes, the mail moved with the cmuImport. However, due to several problems 
I was unable to immediately put the new server in service. It has been 
two days of new mail on the old server now which is still in service, so 
the two servers are no longer in sync mail-wise. Sorry I wasn't more 
clear. I am hoping I can just copy the mail files over to the new by 
hand now. On the old server, it looks like the mailboxes are files that 
are named after the user. On the new, it is mbox. So I can just do a 
(from new server):
scp root@oldserver:old/home/spool/mail/<user1> 
/home/sites/*/users/<user1>/mbox
for each user whose mailbox has changed and it should work. I think it 
will only be for possibly less than half a dozen users, as most download 
to their pc's.
