Thanks much for that Gerald - exactly what I was looking for. I've made 
it through getting the files over to the new server. One step here I 
want to check on with you:

"Note: Make sure the new server only has hostname set in System Settings."

I've gone ahead and logged in via the http interface for bluequartz and 
deleted the virtual sites and changed the host name to an arbitrary one. 
Is there any other place I should look (via shell?) to make sure the 
host name got changed everywhere important?
