I have installed and am using WP on various vhosts at my BQ installation.
although there are 'ARRAY' issues related to PHP/ZEND from 2.2x 
introducted there is a work around for it
by modifying the plugin.php part

The system can be that secure you want to make it, also use correct 
plugins. One of my installations was comprimised
during my holiday and they were able to upload a php shell script .. 
(not even on my BQ installation, but at a hoster .. )
