Michael,
Having trouble getting info from Tyan.
What version kernel is on the SOL2.iso?
And How can I change an iso to use a newer kernel.
I did find that kernel 2.6.18 and higher should have support for
Intel Broadwater Q965 MCH ICH8

It's identical to Brian's ISO, but has a newer Linux kernel in the first
stage
loader. That allows to install BQ on hardware that otherwise might not
get
detected correctly.
I had a few clients that were using some spanky new Intel boards or
SunFire
X2200. The original ISO left them in the same boat: SATA disks were not
detected. With the repackaged ISO they could install just fine.
