[starting point]
a platform for developers are needed.

Follow by: some Timeline and some objective.

For me.

I am particular interested in
BQ relations with /var/db/.db files and CODB.

My Objective is discover the relationship of BQ and it's DBs (CODB, /var/db)

Therefore work out some theories to port BQ's DB to openldap.

Why?

The aim is to achieve scalability by active-passive clustering. (simplest form of clustering)

In principle, BQ DB / DATA can be hot-sync replicated to standby set via OpenLDAP (Need some work)
or via DRDB partition replication. (Already can.)

Then Linux heartbeat can be installed to automatically Swing-over to standby when active
 is down.

Cheers
patrick
