Ken,

Took a different approach.  That server was scheduled for replacement in 
September anyway, with all but 2 real small and 4 placeholder sites 
having been migrated.

Got the new hardware expedited, pulled out a Nuonce 4.7 disk, and 
voila!  Problem solved.
