Thanks for the answers everyone but it seem to have cleared up on it's own.
/etc/hosts is correct now, didn't look at it at the time. No separate DNS
for internal network. And the router was refreshed when the changes were
made.

Typically router/firewall arp tables only need refreshing if you have moved
an IP from one physically interface to another (such that the MAC underlying
the IP changes). From what Terrance said, he just changed an IP in place on
the same interface. Which shouldn't confuse any arp or rarp tables.
