I thought the aliases.db got rebuilt automagically, but it's certainly worth
a try.  Either 'cd /etc/mail; make', or restart sendmail.

I can't offhand think of any other reason why the problem should persist
after you removed the alias.

BTW, I am assuming when you say "forward from" you mean you aliased admin to
another user.  Or did you mean you used a .forward?
