Yes I do get responses from this domain when pinging from root.

Any other suggestions?

Not sure about the reports, but for some reason your server
Cannot find the URL, for the repomd.xml file.
We can get it here...
Try logging into the server and issue
  ping bluequartz.org
Do you get an answer?

If not look at your System Settings DNS
